Annealing of Nuclear Equipment

The high temperature annealing of fuel rods or steam generator tubes requires furnaces systems which guarantee a temperature uniformity of ± 5°C. Based on our experience, this requirements can be fullfield by ALD France annealing furnaces.

ALD France has also developed and build the world larges special vacuum annealing furnace for the induction coils of the nuclear fusion project ITER. These induction coils (D-coil) have a dimension of 9 by 14 meters and a weight of approximately 300 tons.
